Lighting Solutions

Four Steps to the Ideal Lighting Solution

Lighting solutions from Waldmann take companies from a spatial lighting concept to a concept designed for visual tasks and demonstrate how the performance and well-being of employees can be improved with better light.

1 - Analysis

2 - Concept

  • Waldmann lighting consultants survey the essential requirements
and planning data on-site. The data is then analyzed for energy
    efficiency and lighting quality.
  • Based on the respective activities, the special on-site “lighting situation”, and the requirements as a result of standards, Waldmann develops an individual lighting solution: The first C in TWIN-C: the “concept”.

3 - Components
4 - Solution
  • Once the lighting concept is established, the process enters the next phase: The selection and determination of the correct “components“. In this phase, the necessary products are defined
    based on the customer’s requirements.
  • The result of this structured procedure is the “correct light in the right location“, achieving high cost-efficiency, maximum customization to the requirements at the workplace and the increased motivation of employees.

Integral thinking, integral optimization

Architecture

  • Sufficiently dimensioned windows
  • Positions of windows
  • Active shading / sun shade systems.
  • Daylight systems
  • Sufficient daylight throughout the room

Room

  • Blinds
  • Bright room boundary surfaces

Light Planning

  • Visual task-related lighting planning, i.e. focused on the workplace.

Light Management

  • Daylight sensors for daylight-dependent tracking of artificially produced light.
  • The lighting system is switched ON and OFF if it detects a person’s presence.
  • Individual adjustability by dimming.
  • Communication with other building technology system units.

Luminaire

  • High efficiency.
  • Low level of soiling.
  • Simple cleaning and maintenance.
  • Simple, intuitive operation.
  • Quality label or certified luminaires.
  • Indirect light distribution (glare-free and low shadowing).
  • Direct, glare-free, and individual work light.
